Career Summary
Joshua has over 15 years of experience in the AEC industry. He began his career as a rough carpenter while in college building houses in and around Ames, IA. After graduation he worked as an architectural intern for a couple firms across the midwest and rocky mountain region, where he worked on projects ranging in scale of luxury vacation homes and sports stadiums to high rise buildings and healthcare facilities. Joshua further expanded his knowledge in the AEC industry by passing the Architectural Registration Exam and receiving his MBA in Construction Business from the University of Oklahoma. Going on to work for companies such as McCownGordon Construction and Shamrock Trading Corporation, he gained in-depth experience working as a Virtual Construction Specialist, Construction Manager, and Owner’s Representative.
In August of 2024, Joshua started his journey as a Project Manager at Eskie + Associates, where his knowledge allows him to provide full-service Owner’s Representation to clients.
Using his multifaceted industry experience and excellent communication skills, Joshua advocates for project owners through all phases of the construction, development, or the renovation process. He strives to make the construction process as easy as possible for the project owners from initial idea to project hand off.
