Troy Fuqua

Troy has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. After graduating from Kansas State University in 1998 he began his career in San Francisco, California working for a large general contractor as a Project Estimator for three years. Being a Midwesterner at heart, Troy migrated back to Kansas where he worked as a project manager for two concrete companies from 2001 to 2007.

In 2007 Troy started working for Stoltz Management, coordinating all tenant improvement work at Corporate Woods – Overland Park. Working with over 2.1 million SF of office space he oversaw every aspect of construction from conception to completion. Troy collaborated with designers and potential tenants to create an initial layout for the space, which helped him estimate costs. He organized tours of the site before bids were submitted, assessed the bids in detail, and chose the most suitable general contractor. Throughout the project, Troy regularly communicated with the team, holding weekly meetings and performing site visits. He paid fine attention to all components of the project including construction, MEP, audio/visual, IT, furniture coordination and installation. At project completion, Troy conducted a thorough inspection with the team to ensure everything was done to their satisfaction.

After 11 years at Corporate Woods, Troy decided to venture out on his own and started Axiom Flooring, a commercial flooring company. At Axiom Flooring, he learned every realm of the business side of construction. He also handled all construction components of the business from estimating, project negotiation, project procurement, project management and project close out.

Recently, Troy decided to return to the ownership side and joined the Eskie Team where he serves as the Director of Tenant Finish Representative services. This division will focus on the construction of interior finishes for tenants, landlords and owners. With his extensive experience at Corporate Woods added to his business knowledge at Axiom Flooring Troy hopes to help Tenants, Landlords and Owners navigate through the tedious adventures of interior finish construction.
