In the Fall of 2018, the Kansas Department of Agriculture (KDA) approved a new build-to-suit 30,000 SF lab facility to be developed, built and owned by the Kansas State University Foundation. The lab includes office space, lab space with complex plumbing and HVAC, and an attached metal building structure with an extensive crane system for weights and measures testing.

Eskie + Associates served as the Owner’s Representative beginning with early site and construction feasibility studies through pre-construction, construction and closeout. Eskie + Associates also oversaw FF+E procurement and coordination for KDA.

The project was delivered on schedule in March 2020 and navigated closeout during the early stages of the pandemic. Eskie + Associates managed and facilitated a total savings returned to the Owner of 2% of GMP.
