It's been a busy season here at Eskie + Associates! In this installment, we will share updates from our most recent projects, give you a sneak peek into what's coming next, introduce you to our newest members of the "Eskie Dream Team", and discover how our Senior Project Manager celebrates the fall season.
PROJECT UPDATES
Kansas State University Salina Dormitory – COMPLETED 🎉
Client: Kansas State University Foundation
Project Size: $9.2 million | 28,000 SF
Project Partners: Hutton | Kaw Valley Engineering
K-State Salina students moved into their brand new 104-bed dormitory as scheduled in August of 2023. The project was delivered under budget, allowing for additional funding to be allotted towards university costs. This marks the first of two phases and will set the tone for the future architecture of the campus.
Kansas State University Foundation Office Park Phase III – UNDER CONSTRUCTION 🛠
Client: Kansas State University Foundation
Project Size: $26.4 million | 80,000 SF
Project Partners: McCownGordon Construction | BHC | Hoefer Welker | Scott Rice Office Works

Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy – ALMOST DONE ⏱
Client: Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy
Project Size: $20 million
Project Partners: Turner Construction | Multistudio | Freedom Interiors
We have been thrilled to help the Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy transform their space through renovations. Our team has been instrumental in making the space fully ADA compliant, adding a much-needed restroom and revamping the "high school hang-out spot".
Thanks to generous furniture donations and a local artist's stunning mural work, this project looks amazing and is on the verge of completion!
Master’s Transportation Headquarters + Production Facility – IN PROGRESS ✏️
Client: Master’s Transportation
Project Size: $70 million | 320,000 SF
Project Partners: Miller Stauch Construction | Finkle + WIlliams Architecture | Alpha Omega Geotech | Renaissance Infrastructure Consulting
Eskie + Associates is serving as Owner’s Representative for the Master’s Transportation Kansas City expansion. The project includes a 300,000 sq. ft. Production and Corporate headquarters facility in South KCMO, and a 20,000 sq. ft. service and leasing location for travelers and KCI airport use.
Construction is anticipated to start before the end of the year.

Introducing our newest team members…
We are proud of the work going on here at Eskie + Associates and we are thrilled to be growing our Eskie Dream Team. We would like to introduce you to Chad Grauer and Troy Fuqua, who have recently joined the team to help our growing business.
Our Senior Project Manager Chad Grauer has over 20 years of experience working with owners to achieve their project goals. He began his career designing industrial filtration systems for manufacturing facilities. He later joined Homoly Construction where he worked closely with clients to understand project goals and handle estimating and project management before becoming the operations manager.
In June of 2023, Chad joined the Eskie Team to work with clients from project inception through completion. His ability to think outside the box to find creative solutions accompany his persistence and dedication.
Director of Tenant Finish Troy B Fuqua has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He has overseen projects from concept to completion as a project manager, learned the business side of construction as Founder of Axiom Flooring, and has represented landlords and tenants as an Owner's Representative for Corporate Woods.
In September of 2023, Troy joined the Eskie Team to focus on the construction of interior finishes for tenants, landlords and owners as our Director of Tenant Finish.
It is wonderful to have you both on board! We are thrilled about the growth here at Eskie + Associates and we are proud to be expanding our Eskie "Dream" Team.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Eskie + Associates' Owner + Managing Partner Erin Merrill will be taking the stage as a panelist at the upcoming Female Power Players in KC CRE and AEC event. Join us at The Fuel House on November 11 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM. The panel will be from 6:00 - 6:45 PM.

We had an amazing time hosting our Thirsty 3rd Thursday (TTT) events for friends, family, clients and partners this 2023 season. After a summer of fun and games (Corn Hole being our favorite), we will be taking a break. Our team is so excited to see you all again next year!

ESKIE TEAM SPOTLIGHT
Chad Grauer and his family are excited for the fall season for many reasons. First, they love ALL things Halloween. From carving pumpkins to dressing up for trick-or-treating, they always have a blast. Chad and his family also like to attend local Octoberfest events at this time, and he has won the beer stein holding competition at a friend’s event the last two years!

Aside from the holidays, it's time for football season! As avid K-State fans, game day is sacred in their household. They have fun sporting their team's colors and cheering on the Wildcats. Not only do they enjoy watching the game, but they also love to get active with games of their own! Football and wiffleball are some of their favorite backyard sports to play.
