Tonganoxie USD 464 passed its first public bond for a major renovation and expansion of the high school campus in 2019. Additions include a new 2-story learning center with modern education amenities, a new kitchen, library, and commons, as well as state-of-the art gym and fitness facilities. The project also included relocation and renovation of district offices and high school CTE buildings.

Eskie + Associates was hired by USD 464 as the owner’s representative to manage the $50 million master budget and project schedule while leading pre-construction, construction, and FF+E procurement, and providing project communication to the Board of Education and the community.

Eskie + Associates successfully led the project team through pre-construction at the onset of the pandemic in 2020 keeping the project on schedule and on budget despite the challenges of remote work and unknown industry impacts. The first phase was delivered on time and under budget in December 2021 with a second phase gymnasium completed in December of 2022. Eskie + Associates also supported district master planning to identify future renovation and maintenance projects with bond budget savings.
