INDUSTRY NEWS

Along the Berkley Riverfront in Kansas City, there has been great progress in the development led by Port KC. From reinvented historic landmarks to new housing, there is so much to be excited for.

CPKC Stadium

Our favorite landmark along the river is the brand new CPKC Stadium, home to the KC Current Women's Soccer team. Constructed by Monarch Build, this stadium was built BY and FOR women. The venue has a seating capacity of 11,500 fans, and features unique event spaces and a stunning view of the Missouri River.

It's the first of its kind, but definitely not the last.

The team's home opener took place on March 16th and showcased a home team win of 5-4 against the Portland Thorns.

ESKIE TEAM SPOTLIGHT

Our Director of Tenant Finish Troy Fuqua shares what he loves about the spring season.

Troy Fuqua – Eskie + Associates

The Fuqua house kicks into full gear in the springtime. As parents of three active children, Troy and his wife Cassie are faced with three competing sport schedules.

The Fuqua Family

Their oldest, Aubrey (16), plays soccer and tennis on her high school's teams. The second, Zoey (13), runs track and plays volleyball on her middle school's teams, as well as club softball. The youngest, Kane (8), continues the household sports legacy by playing baseball, football, and basketball!

Although this season can be more jam-packed than others, they do appreciate the challenge. Sharing drop-off and pick-up duties for practices and games, Troy and Cassie's "chauffeur" jobs have entered their busy seasons. However, they are always excited and proud to watch the kids have fun and improve their skills each year.

Thank you for taking a look at our quarterly update! We are proud of our team, the projects we are a part of, and the ones we have been able to watch grow in KC.
