INDUSTRY NEWS

Major improvements are on the horizon for Basehor-Linwood School District!

To implement and oversee their Bond 2024 project plans, the district selected Eskie + Associates to serve as Owner's Representative to USD 458. Erin Merrill will advocate for and guide the district through all phases and facets of their Bond 2024 plan.

We are excited to be involved early in this project, allowing us to identify risks early on and help prevent problems from arising. This is a great way to maximize the value of an Owner's Representative.

Why you should utilize an Owner's Rep as early as possible:

  • Cost control

  • Enhanced design quality

  • Schedule efficiency

  • Reduction of risk

Having been able to return $5 million to Tonganoxie USD 464 on their $50 million bond project, Eskie + Associates is confident and eager to help Basehor navigate through the intricacies of the district's Bond 2024 plan.

I have total confidence in [Erin’s] ability to represent our school district. She takes a lot of pressure off of me, which she told me from day one was her goal.
— Loren Feldkamp | Superintendent | Tonganoxie USD 464

Let us take the lead on your next project.

Our team is eager to connect with leaders in education. We love being able to work within both private and public education, helping improve the overall schooling experience of students and staff, and making sure all facets of their projects are running smoothly.

Reach out to Julie Hendrix if you are interested in saving time and money on your school or district’s next project!

Thank you again to our USA-Kansas visitors!

We had a wonderful time attending the USA-Kansas Vendor Showcase in May. Thank you to all who stopped by our booth, and congrats to Krista Dueringer with the Olathe School District on winning the raffle!

ESKIE TEAM SPOTLIGHT

Although it may be summer break for the students, in order to plan and set up activities for the next school year, board members, staff and volunteers stay hard at work.

Julie Hendrix | Director of Communications + Business Development

Our Director of Communications + Business Development Julie Hendrix has served as a PTA board member at her sons’ elementary school for three years. Working closely with school administrators, teachers, and other parents to organize and school fundraisers, social events, teacher and staff appreciation celebrations, and general support for the educators who give their hearts and time to students and families every day.

Julie and her Children

It’s so important to me as a parent to support the teachers and staff who are going above and beyond for my children and their friends. The pandemic brought us many things, but the opportunity to see what these educators do on a daily basis for their students, as well as the tremendous extra effort it took for them to care for their students while they learned virtually, really gave us all a unique perspective and a glimpse at what life is like in their shoes. I’ll be forever grateful to these amazing teachers for the care and love they’ve poured into our children.
— Julie Hendrix | Eskie + Associates

We appreciate you taking the time to check out our quarterly update! We love the work we do and are excited to share all about it. See you again in the fall!
